OUR STORY
Shalom World was born from a vision to spread the message of peace, love, and hope through modern media. It all started in 2014 when a group of passionate individuals from the Shalom Media Ministry, decided to take a bold step in faith. Our journey began in Kerala, India, back in 1989, when we were just a small prayer group of young Catholics, eager to share our faith with those who had drifted away from the Church. We started by organizing retreats and publishing religious literature, slowly building a foundation that would later support a much larger mission. Seeing the immense potential of media to touch lives on a global scale, we launched Shalom World with the dream of providing inspiring and faith-based programming to viewers around the world.
From the very beginning, Shalom World resonated with audiences because of its authentic and engaging content. We offered a diverse range of programs, from inspirational talks to children's shows, music, and live broadcasts of liturgical events. Our commitment to a multicultural approach allowed us to connect with a global audience by offering programs in multiple languages. By leveraging advanced technology, we ensured our content was freely accessible anywhere, broadcasting in high definition and streaming online. The dedication and passion of our team, along with the incredible support from the Catholic community, transformed Shalom World from a modest media initiative into a leading international platform that continues to share the peace of Christ with millions around the world.
